Celebration of Life Concert - 'Singer's Choice Part I'

The CHORALE, conducted by founding director, Julie Beyler, begins their season with inspirational music of living composers – including Morton Lauridsen, Craig Hella Johnson, Dan Forest, Mack Wilberg and Eric Whitacre . . . As a part of their mission The CHORALE presents, Derek Maninfior, pianist, graduate of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and winner of The CHORALE’s 2010 Young Artist Scholarship award.

This concert at Faith United Methodist Church in Champaign is free to the public and donations to the CHORALE’s scholarship fund will be welcome.

C-U at the Virginia - 'Opening Night'

At their annual New Year’s Eve performance, The CHORALE sings hit selections from the longest running shows on Broadway . . . from Oklahoma to Phantom, Les Miserables, Sound of Music, Fiddle on the Roof and others. Returning from the Steinhardt School of Music in New York City will be The CHORALE’s special guest for the evening. Caitlin Dobbs. a former winner of The CHORALE’s Young Artist Scholarship, will complete her studies in New York in 2016.

Young Artist Scholarship Concert - 'Singer's Choice Part II'

Presenting a potpourri of CHORALE members’ favorites from the repertoire of the last 33 years, The CHORALE sings folk, sacred, secular and spirituals. This free concert features a performance by the scholarship winner of 2016. …AND a farewell performance by pianist, Dr. Michael Hammer. The CHORALE, conducted by founding director Julie Beyler welcomes donations to their scholarship fund.

This is a free concert open to the public.  Donations gratefully received.
